Amazon has launched a new program called the European Expansion Accelerator (EEA), which streamlines the process of selling across Amazon’s nine European sites.
With just a few clicks, sellers can easily list their products in all of Amazon’s European and UK stores, providing customers with access to millions of products. The EEA is a free service accessible to all professional Amazon selling partners who already have a presence in at least one of Amazon’s European stores, including France, Germany, Italy, Spain, the Netherlands, Poland, Sweden, Belgium, and the UK.
Identify New Markets
By connecting standalone Amazon tools, EEA eliminates the need for sellers to navigate different tools separately, reducing the time and effort required to expand their business. This streamlined approach makes it easier for sellers to expand their reach and grow their business in the European market.
After logging into Seller Central, sellers can quickly identify the markets they’re not currently selling in and instantly expand into them with just a few clicks. EEA streamlines the entire process of account registration and set-up, translations, listings, shipping set-up, product eligibility checks, and catalogue customizations.
The solution triggers multiple existing Amazon tools, such as List-Once-Sell Globally and Build International Listings, to complete end-to-end expansion in one or more stores, eliminating the need for sellers to use multiple tools. Businesses can automatically complete the expansion process within three business days without breaking a sweat.
Simplify European Expansion
Amazon’s EEA not only simplifies the process of expanding a seller’s business, but it also allows for continuous expansion for newly listed products. EEA enables communication through store-specific recommendations, replicating the same information across different stores. The solution uses the selling partner’s preferences from their main store to automatically carry out the same procedures across different stores. This ensures consistency across all stores while providing customers with a personalised shopping experience.
The EEA brings significant benefits to customers in the UK and Europe, including access to a wider range of new products, more competitive prices, and faster delivery options. Amazon also ensures that selling partners continue to receive the same benefits and access to crucial tools like the VAT Services program (VISA), payment processing, credit card fraud protection, promotional features, and analytics reports. Additionally, UK customers can leverage the European Fulfilment Network to easily sell across borders without the need to register for VAT in the destination store. This integration allows businesses to expand their reach and take advantage of opportunities in new markets.
