The eBay Love Island partnership is teaming up again to bring pre-loved fashion back to our screens. This collaboration between eBay and the ITV2 reality TV dating show is now in its third iteration and aims to promote sustainable shopping by featuring second-hand clothing on the popular show.
For the first time, eBay is inviting marketplace sellers to list their pre-loved items, giving them a chance to make a fashion statement in the Love Island villa.
In addition to pre-loved clothing, eBay will be adding a collection of pre-loved, authenticated sneakers and garments from their Imperfects range to the Love Island villa wardrobe.
Iconic Pre-Loved Fashion on eBay and Love Island
Amy Bannerman, eBay’s Pre-loved Style Director, will be curating the outfits for the contestants, searching for standout pieces like the iconic yellow Versace co-ord worn in previous seasons by Tasha Ghouri, Olivia Hawkins and Ellie Spence.
In a statement released by eBay, Amy Bannerman, eBay’s Pre-loved Style Director, said: “One of my favourite things about pre-loved fashion is the story behind each piece, and I love being able to continue each piece’s lifecycle. In particular, we’re on the hunt for brands including Rat and Boa, House of CB and Arne. Co-ords are key, whether it’s short sleeve shirts and shorts for the guys or maxi skirts and corset tops for the girls. We also know the Islanders like to show a little skin, so please do dig out those high-slit skirts and cut-out dresses that, although they might no longer be right for you, would be perfect for the new Islanders. Simply head to eBay and sell me your pre-loved item for the chance for it to end up in the villa wardrobe!”

eBay UK experienced a significant surge in searches for ‘pre-loved fashion’ on the online marketplace during Love Island series 9, with an increase of over 1400% compared to the previous series.
- Over the past year, eBay UK witnessed the sale of one pre-loved item every second on their platform.
- In 2023, eBay UK observed a 24% rise in the number of circular businesses joining their platform.
- Since the inception of the Love Island partnership, eBay UK has witnessed an impressive year-on-year increase of almost 20% in listings of pre-loved fashion.
